Dear Runners and Families, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause the Franklin County Jets Youth Cross Country & Track program. I am unable to provide the adequate time and dedication needed to organize and coach the youth programs while also coaching the school seasons. I’ve loved coaching every student athlete and working with so many families over the last seven years working with the Jets program. If you’ve been a part of the Jets in years past, I will always cheer for you on the course or track and in life. Although I am stepping away from the Jets team coaching, I am not far from the sport. I am always happy to help any runner who wants to explore or improve in the sports of cross country or track. I’m available for private coaching throughout the year. I also suggest a new program that I am leading at the Four Rivers YMCA for off-season running and conditioning. Fall Youth Athletic Training will incorporate running & strength and will be held on Tues/Thurs afterschool starting the third week of October. I will run a similar Y program in June/July. If interested, please contact me or the Four Rivers YMCA. Also, if your runner is searching for a team with which to compete, I recommend the St Louis Blazers for ages 8 yrs-middle school.
Wishing you all the best, Stacey Ayers
