The Franklin County Jets a non-profit, AAU and USATF affiliated youth running team in Washington, coached & organized by Mason Duchatschek, Stacey Ayers & other volunteers. All coaches have AAU/USATF credentials and have completed background checks & safesport training.
We have partnered with The Jefferson County Jets Track Club in Festus. The Jeffco Jets have a long history of training athletes in a wide range of track and XC events and they have produced many collegiate and even a few Olympic-level athletes.
Jets Cross Country Season Training starts on September 9th. We meet for practice at 5:45 pm at the Lions Lake Pavilion behind the Town and Country Fair Main Stage in Washington, Missouri on Monday and Thursday evenings.
Our plan is to offer training to kids twice per week, from 5:45 to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays beginning on September 9th.
There are optional racing opportunities within the St. Louis metro area, but our main goal is to encourage kids to improve their fitness.
If kids want to order racing jerseys or enter optional races, those options and schedules will be made available. There are usually nominal fees for entry which vary by event and location.
For insurance purposes, runners must have a 2019/2020 AAU Card.
